The goddess Varahi is the wife of Lord Varaha (the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu) and was born in her body. The goddess Varahi Devi is the demonstration of the goddess Shakti and one of the eight Matrika (mother goddesses). She has a wild boar’s face and is often represented with 8 arms holding Sangu, Chakram, Gadhai, Kadgam, Mushalam, Devaragam, Abayavaradam and Ulakkai.
